Our web page has been designed to give you information about

Church Lane, in the hamlet of Chilcote, DE12 8DL
Although we are in the North West Leicestershire County
Council our postcode is Derbyshire,
we do therefore pack our strawberries under the DERBYSHIRE
name.

We purchase equipment, plants, tunnels and irrigation systems
through the group (BPO) and obtain specialist cropping advice,
100% of our yield is sold through BPO, we are regulated by
the RPA and monitored annually.
The crops we grow; the fruit we supply and the conservation areas and
systems we tend are all available to read about on our web site.
Manor Farm is set
in an idyllic rural area and has some magnificent views and a clean
bright freshness that you will find hard to beat.

We are a family run business that has
seen tremendous growth over the last 15 years. On the 1st
January 2008 we officially became a Limited Company John Busby,
Robert Busby and Phillip Busby are the three Directors and Nicola
Busby is the Company Secretary.
The investment into a larger area
of protected cropping (100%), has gained us the ability to sell our
fruit from mid May through to the end of October to our main
supermarket outlet, Tesco Stores. We also grow arable crops, we used
to grow potatoes extensively but now growing English
Class I Strawberries has become our number 1 priority!
We have become one of the biggest single
suppliers of fresh English
Class I Strawberries to Tesco Stores Ltd in the midlands and
surrounding areas.
Nicky works within the family business in the
main farm office.
Maria
works along side Nicky in the office to keep the business in order.
The
job share suits them both very well.
